Where are you located and what are your hours of operation?

We have two locations: Old Parham Road, St. John’s, Antigua and Townhouse Plaza, Corner of All Saints & American Road, Antigua.

We operate from Monday to Friday.

Loan appointments however are done at our Old Parham Road location.

Our hours of operation are:
Mondays- Wednesdays- 8:00am to 2:30pm
Thursdays – 8:00am to 2:00pm
Fridays – 8:00am to 4:00pm.

How can I make a new account or loan appointment?

Appointments are made over the telephone.

What are the requirements to open an Adult Account?

  • A Job Letter/ Business Registration Certificate from Intellectual Property.
  • Passport and one Valid Photo ID or
  • Birth Certificate (if born in Antigua) and Two other Valid Photo IDs
  • Social Security Card (once available)
  • Proof of address in your name and not more than 6 months old
  • Opening Deposit of E.C.$225.00.

What are the requirements to open a Minor Account?

  • Your Child’s Birth Certificate
  • Your Child’s Passport (if available)

Parents documents:

  • Job letter or Business License (if self-employed)
  • Passport and one other Valid Photo IDor Birth Certificate and Two other Valid
  • Photo ID’s.
  • Social Security Card
  • Proof of address in your name and not more than 6 months old
  • A letter of permission to open the account is required from the child’s parent if you are not the legal guardian.
  • Opening Deposit is E.C.$30.00

What are Permanent Shares?

Permanent Shares are your long-term investments in the Credit Union. Permanent shares also help to strengthen the Credit Union and help ensure its survival.

All members of the Credit Union 18 years and older, are required to purchase a minimum of 40 permanent shares at the value of E.C. $200.00, to be legal members of the Credit Union.

Each permanent share costs E.C. $5.00

Permanent shares are non-withdrawable.

You must own permanent shares in order to access the Credit Unions products and services.

You can earn dividends (interest) on your permanent shares each year once the Credit Union makes a surplus. This dividend is applied to your deposits once declared.

What are the requirements to reactivate my account?

To reactivate an account, you require the following:

  • Passport and one other valid Photo ID or Birth Certificate (if born in Antigua) and
  • Two other Valid Photo IDs
  • Job letter or Business Registration Certificate from Intellectual Property(If Self Employed)
  • Proof of address (in your name and not older than 3 months)
  • Deposit or withdrawal of E.C $10.00
  • You may need to purchase additional Permanent Shares as the minimum amount required is now E.C $200.00

You will also need to fill out our reactivation form, which you will receive from a Tellers (CSRs) when you visit our office.
Reactivation can be completed at both our locations (Townhouse Plaza and Old Parham Road).
No appointment is needed.

What are the requirements to apply for a small loan?

To apply for a loan, you would first need to be a member of the Community First Co-operative Credit Union.

Documents needed for the loan include:

Employed Persons:

  • Job Letter
  • Passport and Another Valid Photo ID
  • Social Security Card
  • Proof of address (utility bill or bank statement in your name, not more than 6 months old),
  • Two most recent payslips,
  • A cash deposit (varies depending on the amount you are borrowing)
  • Documentation to show what you will be using the money to purchase
  • Guarantor (may be required) would also need to provide their Job Letter, Passport, Social Security Card, Proof of Address, and two recent Payslips.
  • Other conditions may apply

Self Employed Persons:

  • Verification of Income (Affidavit of means and audited financial statements)
  • Business License from Intellectual Property
  • Social Security Card
  • Passport and one other Valid Photo ID
  • Documentation to show what you will be using the money to purchase
  • Proof of address (not more than 6 months old)
  • A guarantor is required. This person cannot be self-employed and must provide a job letter, Passport, and one Other Valid Photo ID, Social Security Card, two recent payslips, and Proof of Address)
  • Cash Deposit (varies depending on the amount being borrowed)
  • Other conditions may apply

What Saving Clubs do you have available?

We have two Saving Clubs available.

Our Holiday Club runs from January to November

Our Summer Club runs from September to June.

The minimum monthly contribution is E.C $50.00. You can deposit more if you wish.

You must maintain the same monthly contribution each month for the duration of the Club.

You can start both ofour Clubs at our Teller station, by making a deposit at the ATM, at our Drop Box upstairs (Old Parham Road) or by doing an online transfer.
